Finally a new report! We are back in the water and gleaming! We have a new look, and a new attitude. We have made one trip this season and that was with Chris Stanley and his group for Reelin for Research tournament friends. What a great cuase. These fisherman along with many others raised quite a total for childrens cancer research. We did not have a lot of luck until late in the day and then we caught 2 wahoos out of three bites. However the weather was picture perfect for these guys, and our new paint job.

I wanted to inform you all, that there is a change coming. The Diamond Girl will have a new look for 2010. The hull will be a darker blue than it is now, and the rest of the boat will be Snow White. Perhaps some other more subtle changes will also be implemented. She is out of the water and the paint crew is working hard on here makeover.

Despite her new looks, she is still available for charter, and we are accepting bookings for 2010 now. We hope to be up and running sometime before mid March. We are also still open for the Big Rock Tournament, among others including Ducks Unlimited, Barta, Wrightsville Beach, and the Wahoo Challenge. I look forward to hearing from past customers as well as new. However most of all I hope 2010 is a very good year for everybody.

The weather for this weekend is forecast to be excellent! We are open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. All four days are to be awesome weather. The fishing has been very good. The dolphin have been very cooperative, a few wahoo, and even quite a few blue marlin have been caught this spring.

The tournament dates for 2009 are in for the Governor's Cup. If you are interested please call for info, and rates. There are also a couple other tournaments that are in the area, that are a lot of fun also, such as; the Grand Slam tournament in Hatters, and the Calcutta Wahoo Challenge. These are all fun tournaments, and even the novice fisherman has a chance in most of these. Feel free to call and discuss tactics, rates, and info.

We will be moving this Friday, January 2, 2009 to the Morehead City waterfront.
This will be a good move for everyone. We will have fish cleaning services available, resturaunts, and shopping, all in walking distance from where we will now tie up. We are excited about this, and hope you will come join us in our new location.

We have many open dates available so call us for more details, and prices. The bluefin bite has never taken off this year, although there were a handful of fish caught yesterday. Offshore can be an option if you get the right weather.

Now that the holidays are soon behind us, it is time to start thinking about the spring and hopefully that includes going fishing.

No I never met her, but I do know she is an Icon in Jane's family. She has moved on to a bigger and better world. I also know that she is in peace, and the Bailey family will rejoice in the memory of her life. If Mamma Dot was anything like Jane, then I know she was a good person, and I would have been better off for knowing her.

Our condolences go out to Clyde, Jane, Morgan, Trey, Doug, and Marcie, We know you will celebrate life here with her, and the life after.
