I got this phone call to early in the week and the mans name was Rick Butler.I thought the name sounded familiar and as we dug into our past,I found out he went to the same high school I did (We just graduated 3 years ago...not really)
Wow what a small world,I then found out his wife also went to the same school the same time my sister did! Theresa ,and her daughter Whitney has some growing to do before she can go to hagh school, but what a great family!
Ok enough about that you say!Tell us about the fishing!Well the fishing was very active on the day!We caught 6 wahoos,1 dolphin, and a king mackerel. That is what we brought home. The barracudas ate us up,I lost count of those critters, and we even got hit by the bonitos once.So I guess if you count that is 5 different species for the day.
The ground swell out there was huge, but it was very spread out and the waves were very fat. So really it was a very nice day! We had a lot of action and beautiful weather, and a great group of folks.
We still have the Wahoo Challenge open for the 20th and the 21st so if you are interested then give me a call.We also have many open dates especially in the wee,and we have a couple groups that would like to go this week, but need some more interest to put a group together. If you have a group and are ready to enjoy some awesome fall fishing then give us a call.
Also due to Alans school schedule he was not able to fish with us,but John Henry is more than capable and did a great job. Thanks John!
