Well it is August 3rd,and we are catching tunas?Awesome! We actually caught 4 of them,a wahoo,2 dolphin weighing better than 35lbs,and a white marlin!What a catch,and what a day.Today Lonnie brought his family and friends for a great day of fishing.His niece Sarah,did a great job and caught the biggest dolphin,and her brother Charles caught the white marlin.

This trip was almost like spring fishing,but the heat was a constant reminder it was summer. The fishing continues to be good,with a very respectable showing of sailfish now also.We leave August 13th to head to our last tournament of the year.We will be in Manteo for the Pirates Cove Billfish Tournament.Last year there were over 500 billfish caught.I hope it will be as exciting as last year.We will be back on August 19th,and we have many open dates available for the rest of August and September,and also October.The wahoo fishing will be getting hot that time of the year,and a sailfish can be a frequent visitor also.
