Well not the best fishing to speak of....overall the Tournament fishing was very slow. There were 51 boats entered in the Swansboro Tournament and only a total of seven Blue Marlin and three Sailfish releases were logged for both days. The "Outlaw" out of Hatteras was the winner "on time" with a Blue Marlin release. On the "Diamond Girl", Clyde, David, Chris, Will and Wright had a great time and tried real hard but only saw one billfish and were unable to hook 'em up. The billfish came up and hit the bait one time but then took off not to be heard from again. We saw the bill but did not get a good enough look to identify the species. Except for our few Dolphin catches, I guess the best two bites of the weekend were the two sandwiches that David made, "kudos" to David for the awesome eats. It was really nice to have everyone on the boat and we are looking forward to the next tournament.....which is BIG ROCK. Please stay tuned for more updates.
