Wahoo - as much fun to catch as it is to pronounce its name. These speed demons are great table fair and are around most of the year. The best time for them is in the early to late fall, when we catch several in a day. The initial run is awesome with a burst of speed that is rivaled by none. Trolling is pretty much the only way these fish are caught around this area, and we have a couple of deeper baits just for them, they will however just as easily take a bait on top. The wahoo is definitely one you want to try to catch and taste some day.
